Rainboots

So I've noticed a new fad/trend shall we say with some of the Hollywood starlets wearing rainboots with dresses. I like it. I really dig it. So I'm in the process of getting some Hunter Originals these run normally $125 but I'm hoping to find some for a better deal on Ebay. There are SO many cute colors out there! My personal favorites are Green, Navy and (shown in picture)the high gloss violet!


Also this week at Anthropologie wasn't the luckiest of weeks. But I did happen to find the Deuxhill Cowlneck in the Black Motif. Took a bit of searching, I needed a 6 and that was somewhat difficult to find. Also since they've had the cowlneck on their site for a while I'd be keeping an eye out for it going SALE! Anthro will give you a price adjustment over the phone even if goes on sale within 2 weeks.

Cardigans Galore

It's the first REAL morning of Holiday break in my house. That meant Blueberry Pancakes for the kiddos, and a trip to Nana's shop. I know around here we are counting down the days until Christmas! Hope everyones week is off to an equally great start!

So I was going to do another post on my Favorite Things. Which are my G1 Sailor pants. However I didn't get a good picture of the pants yesterday. So maybe another time!

Something I AM excited about is this super cute Lace Cardigan I found at Target!


I had to order mine online because I just couldn't find one in the stores anywhere. Maybe your luck will be better? I got it in Cream (Old Lace), but you can find it in Black, Tan (Latte), Red (Merlot), and Blue (Media).



Also this past week I went to the J.Crew outlet and found 2 Cardigans for $19.99 a piece-almost a steal at regular price which are $62 and up.

WEATHER PATTERNS DRESS!

Ok so yesterday 12/15/10 just had to be one of the absolute best days of 2010!
It started off like any other day. I had been planning to stop by the Braven Anthropologie in Bellevue...but honestly I wasn't really feeling the drive. However I had went to BabyGap the night before at Alderwood with my MIL and bought a jacket and a sweater for my little guy. The Bellevue Gap was holding the right for me, so I was pretty much forced into going.

So I finally make it into Anthropologie...it's a bit busy. I so prefer to have the store all to myself or at least the sale area of the store. So as I'm looking around the Sale room searching for the Whitecap Odille top I wanted in Black, I spot a rack near the back with a bunch of random items on it. I wander over and see some turquoise sticking out. And low and behold hanging there BRAND NEW. IN A SIZE SMALL. Is the RicRac Weather Patterns dress I've been wishing and hoping for ever since last year. I would have bought it no matter the price but here is the AMAZING thing. It was $9.95!! This dress was originally $118. And I've been searching high and low for it! My goal was to have it for New Years! I couldn't be happier!!

Sale~And what I found.

Last Friday I went to Anthropologie in search of the IDRA Frill Force Coat. With no luck. I should of just ordered it online...Or bought it the week before and gotten a price adjustment...hind sight is 50/50. Oh well maybe I'll get lucky and find it on Ebay eventually. Also I'm still looking for that RicRac Weather Patterns dress.

I did find 2 shirts while I was there. So that at least made my trip worth it.


Pictured here is the Lossely Looped Tee. I bought it in Green originally $58 and on sale for $29.95.

The RicRac top I bought isn't on Anthro's site...so photos of that to come later.

Also Anthro just did markdowns and lots of gloves, belts, cardigans.

And THIS top that I so want. It's totally up my alley. Blouse, with Ruffles, quite reminds me of my green one! So I'm thinking I may take a trip down to UVillage is in my very near future! It's the Odille Whitecaps Blouse!

My Favorite Things!

~Now normally I'm not a huge Eddie Bauer fan. But, when I saw this Pink vest I knew I just had to have it! It has yet to go on Sale. When it came out in early October I tried to hold off on it...but I finally broke down and bought it. I've gotten my use out of it. It's super comfy and fun! And the fur on the hood is detachable!

Anthropologie Sale

So Anthropologie did their normal Tuesday mark downs this week! Lots of good stuff on sale! Last week I saw this jacket...I passed on trying it on because I probably don't need it. But then this week it went on SALE! So tomorrow when I'm in Bellevue I'm going to stop in and try it on, see if they have my size. Between the Military Style and the Ruffles I just love it!

Once Upon a Time There was This Dress!

Just about a year ago I tried on this Anthropologie RicRac Weather Patterns dress. I loved it on! I believe it was originally $118 and on sale for $79 but for some reason that day I had my heart set on "a little black dress" and passed it up. I've regretted it ever since.

So my mission is to find one!! Hopefully by New Years. Fingers Crossed!

First Ever: What I Wore

So today I went up to the Holiday gift fair at my daughters school. I wanted a casual but put together look. For those of you that know me, know that I pretty much always wear jeans. I just love them! However I do want to branch out a bit. But more about that later.

Jeans: Citizens of Humanity Kelly Bootcut. Summer 10' You can still find these at Nordstrom, Macys $189.

Shoes: Sofft Pilar in Bronze. Circa 2008. I love love love these shoes! They have stitching and a little bow on the back. (As pictured in photo) I actually just got a black pair off of ebay for $30 and they were new in the box. Original retail price $98. These also came in Cream and Red...If I find them in a 6.5 I'm not going to pass them up!

This weeks find.

During my most recent Anthropologie trip (which was Wed 12/1) I found a couple really cute things that I think are versitile but that will work great for this holiday season!

Here is the Odille Bianka Top shown in Navy I bought it in black and can't wait to wear it. $68 and still in most stores!

Next is the Button Parade Blouse...this I'm actually wearing for Christmas pictures on Sunday. (I'll be sure to upload a photo.) This top is so fun and I love all the different sized buttons! $39.95 on sale. Still on line and in some stores.

Ok and my splurge of the day was this Delicate Drafts Cardigan in black. At $98 it was a little pricey but I LOVED the details on it! I plan to wear it over the Button Parade Blouse for the Christmas pictures. I also wanted it in Grey but thought I should wait so it's on my "Wish list" at Anthropologie.com. I'll be sure to post an update once it goes on sale!

Hello!! - Today Kaden Boots it is!

Today marks my very first day as a blogger.

I've always enjoyed writing. What I love even more is shopping!
There are many store I frequent but by far my favorite is ANTHROPOLOGIE! The list would go on with. H & M, Banana Republic, White House Black Market, J. Crew, Lululemon, Zumiez, Nordstrom and many more. I like all things either Girly or Comfy. Those are pretty much the 2 categories I stick to.

This blog is dedicated to comfortable style and helping you find the pieces you desire at a prices you can afford.

That brings me to my first find for this blog. The Kaden boot. This boot is found at Target in both black and tan. Zips up the back and has a pretty good calf width. I bought them in tan. So versitile since they could go with leggings, skinny jeans, dresses or skirts!
